Grow Up Eventually
Justin Pittenger launched their online store, Grow Up Eventually, in December of 2022. The store, found at growupeventually.com, sells t-shirts, sweatshirts, and the occasional novelty item printed with their artwork. Releasing these works under the handle “jcraser”, Pittenger looks to explore depression and anxiety surrounding reaching adulthood with this line, utilizing themes of street art, trash, and single-use packaging. The brand itself is split into sub-brands Grow Up and Trashcan Worldview Zero, each representing a cautiously optimistic or crushingly melodramatic outlook respectively, framing the same events in very different ways.
“Dueling Posters” created to promote the brand, emphasizing the two “sub-brands” that make up Grow Up Eventually as a whole.
Terry Buffington Foundation Website Rebuild
During their final semester, Fall 2023, Pittenger led 11 other students in a complete website rebuild for the Terry Buffington Foundation. Over the course of a month of a half, they took on a Product Owner role, applying Agile practices with the team to condense the content of the foundation’s three previous websites into a single new design. Additionally, Justin and their team delivered several promotional posters, a brand and logo refresh, and a style guide for the foundation to use going forward. The website and other materials can be found at terrybuffingtonfoundation.org.
